The Beginning of Help AG

Help AG is co-founded in Germany by Christian Lamperda and Soeren Kroh with the vision of providing world-class cybersecurity solutions. The company quickly establishes itself as a trusted partner for businesses seeking to protect their digital assets, laying the groundwork for future international expansion.

Expansion to the Middle East

Stephan Berner establishes Help AG Middle East, bringing the company’s cybersecurity expertise to a rapidly growing region. Under his leadership, the team grows steadily, building a strong client base and fostering a culture of trust, collaboration, and excellence.

2007

Strategic Growth and Market Transformation

Soeren Kroh spearheads the transfer of Help AG’s shares to TÜV Rheinland, creating TÜV Rheinland i-sec GmbH with over 100 consultants and a turnover exceeding $30 million. This strategic move strengthens the company’s market presence and sets the stage for further expansion. 

Our First Achievements: Help AG successfully implements the ISO 27001 framework, becoming the first certified entity within the Abu Dhabi Government.

2008

Strengthening Technology Leadership

Nicolai Solling joins as Director of Technology Services, bringing deep technical expertise and a vision for scaling Help AG’s technology offerings. He plays a pivotal role in expanding the company’s services across managed security, cloud security, AI, and OT/IoT environments across Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Riyadh, and Cairo. 

2009

Abu Dhabi Regional Office

Help AG establishes its first regional sales office in Abu Dhabi, marking the company’s growing footprint in the Middle East.

2011

Regional Expansion and Team Growth

Soeren Kroh moves to Help AG Middle East as Chief Operating Officer, driving operational excellence and scalable growth across the region.
Our Team: Help AG’s workforce expands to over 30 cybersecurity experts, reflecting strong market demand and growing client trust. 

2015

Strengthening Regional Presence

Help AG expands into Saudi Arabia with a new regional office in Riyadh. The same year, the company establishes its first independent Security Operations Center (SOC), staffed by over 60 cybersecurity experts delivering advanced, 24/7 protection. 

2017

Regional Leadership

Help AG surpasses 100 employees, cementing its position as the largest and most capable cybersecurity company in the region. 

2018

Offensive Excellence and New Headquarters

Help AG’s offensive cybersecurity team surpasses 100 zero-day findings, underscoring the company’s technical depth. Help AG also moves into its 10,000 sq. ft. headquarters at The Galleries in Jebel Ali Downtown, designed to support innovation and collaboration.

Becoming Part of e& enterprise

Help AG is acquired by e& (formerly Etisalat Group) and becomes the dedicated cybersecurity arm of e& enterprise (formerly Etisalat Digital), marking a new chapter of growth and integration.

2021

Help AG launches Help AG as a Service, a modern, service-centric model delivering comprehensive cybersecurity solutions on state-of-the-art platforms. The same year, Cyber Edge X debuts – a Secure Service Edge (SSE) solution unifying networking and security in a cloud-delivered architecture.
The State of the Market Report 2021 highlights the surge in cyber threats, with over 10 million global DDoS attacks and a 183% increase in the UAE alone, establishing Help AG as a thought leader in regional threat intelligence.
IDC MarketScape names Help AG a Major Player in GCC Professional Security Services, recognizing its proactive innovation in managed security, cloud enablement, and SASE offerings. 

2022

Service Excellence and Strategic Partnerships

Help AG earns Frost & Sullivan’s Company of the Year award for its SOC Services, recognizing leadership in secure business transformation and advanced managed capabilities.
The company becomes an MSSP Partner of Microsoft, enabling services across Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, and other security products.
Help AG also launches multiple next-generation services: a Riyadh-based CSOC delivering locally compliant managed security; a cloud-delivered Next-Gen SOC with analytics-powered threat detection; and a fully enhanced Managed Digital Risk Protection (DRP) service offering deep and dark web detection with rapid remediation.

2023

Breakthrough Year of Recognition and Innovation

Help AG wins Frost & Sullivan’s UAE Company of the Year in Digital Forensics, acknowledged for client-centric strategy and leadership excellence.
It launches UNIFY, the Middle East’s first integrated Cyber Defense Platform, combining visibility, collaboration, and automation for a unified security experience.
Help AG attains SOC CMM Level 3 Certification, joining the first global SOCs recognized for intelligence-driven operations.
IDC MarketScape names Help AG a Leader in Managed Security Services (MSS) for the GCC, praising its regional expertise and multi-country intelligence.
The company also unveils the region’s largest Cyber Defense Center (CDC) – a 75-seat facility at Etisalat’s Al Kifaf building in Dubai, offering unmatched scale and 24/7 protection. 

2024

Dr Aleksandar Valjarevic is the Acting CEO of Help AG, where he leads the company’s strategic direction, operational excellence, and overall growth. Previously serving as Chief Business Officer, he played a pivotal role in shaping the business development strategy, overseeing sales, solution architecture and hyperscalers business.

Dr Valjarevic has successfully enabled organizations to grow revenues, expand into new markets, and adopt innovative technologies. He brings deep expertise spanning network and cloud security, data protection, identity and access management, and managed security services, with a proven track record across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East.

At the forefront of industry innovation, Dr Valjarevic is leading Help AG’s efforts to secure the      digital transformation across the Middle East, from smart cities and digital government to AI and post quantum cryptography, ensuring that      strategic initiatives are grounded in strong cybersecurity practices. His leadership continues to position Help AG at the cutting edge of technology while maintaining its reputation as the region’s trusted cybersecurity partner.

Holding a PhD in Computer Science, Dr Valjarevic brings together technical insight and business leadership to guide Help AG’s continued growth in the region.
