By Help AG

Ahmad Ali, Principal OT & IoT Solution Architect at Help AG, was featured in Cyber Sentinels magazine’s cover story, “Why Critical Infrastructure Protection Has Become a Global Imperative,” which examines the growing cyber risks facing essential services as digital transformation and IT-OT convergence accelerate across critical sectors.

In the article, Ahmad highlights that “critical infrastructure security is a top priority due to the increasing reliance on digital systems and interconnected technologies.” He warns that a successful cyberattack “can cause widespread disruptions, economic damage, and even threats to national security,” underscoring the need for proactive security to ensure continuity and resilience. Addressing today’s threat landscape, he adds that “nation-state actors and ransomware groups are the most concerned about threats today,” while insiders also remain “a significant risk.”
