Cyber security specialist Help AG has announced its second consecutive appearance at regional IT security expo GISEC 2014, to be held at the Dubai World Trade Centre’s Convention Centre from 9 to 11 June.
Help AG will focus on highlighting its capabilities in the realm of advanced persistent threats (APTs), which the company insists have been plaguing Middle East enterprises. Its solutions take the form of mitigation of these attacks through analytics, prevention and detection.
Threat escalation has led to the setup of several mitigation centres by regional governments, such as NESA and aeCERT in the UAE, and the National eSecurity Centre in Saudi Arabia.
“Government regulations and compliance are major driving factors for information security investment but the prime concern for organisations is to protect their data and keep their vital IT systems up and running,” said Stephan Berner, managing director, Help AG.
The company will be presenting the newest developments on ISO27001:2013, which is the newest revision of the ISO 27001 standard for Information Security. Attendees will also have a chance to meet senior executives from vendors Algosec, Blue Coat, RSA, Infoblox, CyberArk, F5, Symantec and FireEye, which are all Help AG vendor partners.
Help AG’s Security Analysis team will also be on hand to showcase some of the most recent developments from its zero-day-security research.
