Help AG Partners With Tenable Network Security

Help AG, information security services provider, has unveiled its latest partnership with Tenable Network Security, making the agreement an authorized gold partner for the UAE and Saudi Arabia.
The partnership will enable the systems integrator to offer the vendor’s suite of next0-generation security solutions for continuous network monitoring and vulnerability management to enterprises in the region.
According to a study conducted by Forrester Consulting on behalf of Tenable, organizations that have implemented continuous monitoring are more than twice as likely to be satisfied with their vulnerability management approach compared to those that use periodic scanning.
Stephan Berner, managing director at Help AG said: “The introduction of mobile devices, virtualization, and cloud-based applications in enterprise IT in recent years has resulted in a host of new vulnerabilities and exploits. Without the right visibility tools to identify the resulting security gaps, organizations run the risk of falling victim to breaches and suffering the loss of sensitive business-critical data.”
Help AG intends to support its customers by building a set of value added services around these technologies. In parallel, Help AG will leverage the vendor’s continuous network monitoring and vulnerability solutions in its own IT environment to enhance the capabilities of its Managed Security Services (MSS) division.
Berner added: “Besides giving us a technical edge, utilizing these solutions ourselves on a day- to-day basis will enable us to grow our knowledge and capabilities, which translates to better implementations and smoother deployments of these technologies for our customers.”
The company’s 24×7 Managed Support Services Centre will deliver in-region support for Tenable’s Middle East customers, thus shortening issue resolution times.
The Tenable Network Security solutions now offered by Help AG include SecurityCentre Continuous View (SecurityCentre CV), Nessus and Passive Vulnerability Scanner (PVS). SecurityCentre CV is the market defining continuous network monitoring solution, enabling CISO’s to continuously measure and visualize the effectiveness of their security programs and gain assurance that the security team is addressing the highest priority security problems to secure the business.
“Having an experienced presence in the region and strong channel relationships are key to Tenable’s Middle East growth strategy,” said Gavin Millard, EMEA technical director at Tenable Network Security. “We signed with Help AG, one of the region’s leading and most trusted security partners, so we can work together to help CISOs and CIOs throughout the Middle East definitively answer the question: “How secure are you?”
